Cleared Accenture Skill interview by answering almost all the questions and received congratulatory mail for HR round and submitting all documents. Then after a week received a call from HR saying that due to some technical issue, the skills round will happen again and an online assessment was set up. In the assessment, questions which were not directly related to the profile were asked and then a rejection mail was received. Does this happen a lot?

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Probably a “super day” where you have different styles of interviews with several people, and an hour in the middle for lunch
That doesn't make any sense. Are you sure they didn't just give you a 'window'?
They told me to log in at 9 am and that the assessment will end at 6 pm
Aren’t no way. It has to be an error on the invite. Unless they are doing mass interviews for some reason and it’s first in first out within that time frame.
I doubt that. The email clearly states the schedule, it isn’t just an invite. I guess I’ll just call the recruiter at this point - I thought it was standard but you guys seem as surprised as I am lol
Who would want to work for such a firm? Imagine what they expect of you if you're actually an employee?

Yeah I had that too. I had interviews with 3 or 4 different people. 2 case studies. Make sure you are hydrated and have food near you
Any suggestions on what to prepare? I am pretty good at case studies
Yeah it's an assessment centre but done virtually, pretty common for graduates
Thanks! Can you tell me something about the logic test?
I had that too. It’s was nonstop. Got asked the same questions a bunch of times and a bunch of different ways

“You can’t break me. I’ve rewatched Caillou 17 times.”
Lol I had like x3 30min interviews as a grad hire. I think you’re doing some super interview day where they’re doing all the interviews in one day. Weird
That’s fucking stupid lol
That's crazy but they probably have 3 interviews plus a technology assessment with a case study.
