I have a bachelor's in Fashion Merchandising but haven't found the career I envisioned. I've worked in various industries doing similar roles like merchandising, buying, and sales. However, I'm not excited about the job opportunities I see and I also run a small electrical service company with my husband, which isn't my passion. I'm torn about my next career move and would appreciate some professional insight.

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before. It’s a total shift that would really heal my work-life balance, job satisfaction and budget. My only fear is that I would not be using the license and degree that I worked so hard for. Thinking about getting a MBA, partly for personal enrichment but also for professional reasons. I know schools all have different “cognates” but do people have recommendations that pair well with corporate/securities/financial legal practice fields?

At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project.
