Very specific to retail and/or hospitality in-house roles: has anyone found a good solution for predictive scheduling? Our retail division has one set of software for scheduling and one for payroll, and neither of them can handle predictive scheduling compliance issues unless they’re used for both the scheduling and payroll functions. I have heard that most legacy systems specifically mainframes are being replaced and new technologies taking over for similar purpose.
How about employee like us who just started in this mainframe tech . Where will we end up if you stay in this.
Many of onsite leads tells that move of it as they are migrating larger part of it to new platforms but BU heads says it is going to stay for a long long time don't get panicked.

I was just informed after the third round of interviews they’d like at least 5 references, two must be supervisors. My last job was a temporary remote job where I didn’t really interact with my supervisor and the jobs before that were at my family’s business (I do not speak to any of them for serious personal reasons.) I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. Company B just sent me a request for interview and I want to keep the door open with Company B but they were just very late in extending an interview.
