Don't

Can you offer me more details

Idk what everyone else is talking about. I think this could be a great opportunity. I'd say expect questions about accounting principles, healthcare-specific financials, and handling medical billing or insurance data. Be ready to discuss your experience with spreadsheets and any relevant software. Good luck!

be likeable and teachable. the bar is low for first year staff accountant

What is your role now and why are you moving to medical? Sorry for not answering your question. I am interested in working in the medical field and currently am in public accounting.

I’ve been at my company for 10+ years. I’m not happy with the culture but have flexibility I enjoy, seniority for the time I’ve been here, and pays well. An new job opportunity came up as a Tax Manager but in a different industry which could expand my skillset in different ways, but is not as flexible and the pay is 20k lower. If I stay, I will be Director in few years. What will look better on a resume in the future, continued growth in 1 company or experience in more than 1 company?
