I have an offer at a startup / scale up. Head of strategy reporting to chief growth officer. I will have direct reports, access to senior leadership, and be able to set the strategy but also execute it. It’s by far better than the opportunity I have at Accenture at the moment. And I think it will strengthen my CV more than if I stay at Accenture and even get promoted. But pay is equal maybe less when factoring in bonus. Always heard you should get pay bump when leaving. What should I do?

I need advice.
I work at an manufacturing company as a technician. My job title is a technician but they use me as an engineer as-well. There are three techs overall in the company. My boss who hired me understands what my degree is in so he uses me to design parts and write reports. The plant manager doesn’t know my skills so anytime I’m in the office working he calls me to the floor to do something the other techs can do. Should I have a talk with the boss about it?
