Austin campus is fine, not a finance hub per say but they have expanded their location policies since I left in 2020. It has nice views, good tacos food but now you have to pay $10 / day or $100 a month for parking.
L3 is entry level. L2 rotation associates (first job out of college) transition to L3 in 2 years.
I joined as L4 in 2017 in Finance with 4-5 years of experience (Big4 and Pre-IPO startup) but Google is known to be down-levelling.
You have to pay for parking?? Is this common for tech companies downtown?
How many years of experience is a senior at SWA?
For example, an L3 in finance will have up to ~4-5 yoe.
L5 is a terminal level, usually people with ~7-8 yoe and up.
Oh interesting. I was told by the recruiter that L3 is 2-3 years and essentially entry level. I have 5 YoE.
5 yoe has potential to join at L4, assuming 1) all 5 are relevant to the role, 2) strong interview performance
What department of finance? Everytime I ask about finance/accounting on here it’s crickets lol
