I have an offer for an L3 in finance at the Austin campus. I’m a senior in my current role which I’m inferring is an L5 at Google? I’m curious about the WLB, the Austin Campus, and general promotion timelines on 3 to 4 and 4 to 5.
Also, is it worth trying to get it bumped to an L4 before accepting?

Senior attorneys at v100, how common is it for attorneys who start at small firms to lateral to biglaw? Have you worked with any? Conventional wisdom is always that if you don’t start there it’s hard to “trade up”. My coworker and I just did it to two different great v30 firms, and I’m wondering if it’s really that uncommon? For those who were diagnosed as an adult can you provide some insight into how you were able to obtain a diagnosis. I went to my primary care dr who referred me to another dr who specialized in mental health. He asked me about 5 questions before telling me I should see a neuropsychologist for an official assessment. The referral he gave me is super pricey and apparently isn’t covered by insurance.
