I have been a self employed London based kitchen designer for a 18 years and have not previously been employed by any other kitchen company.

I am now seeking employment with upper-mid to high-end kitchen companies and I am out of the loop as to what to expect in terms of the sales commission percentage.

To clarify - I am seeking a full time London based position with good basic salary. Based on this, can anyone comment on the potential sales commission percentage??

Got offered 68k after 2 years as a contractor (62.5k) doing project management/business admin in a tech department at a Fortune 500 bank. I have an A.S degree and working on my bachelor’s/masters may 2024. I negotiated to 84k NYC. I have seen interns get offered 38 per hour (79k) for internship positions with a similar role.

Thoughts? Should I go higher? I do my job well that’s why they decided to keep me as a contractor after my internship.
