I have been in a plaintiff depo since June 4. Plaintiff’s counsel is a bit unreasonable. It was crossed noticed for three cases and she is threatening to end the depo before all defense counsel had a chance to ask their questions. I haven’t been able to ask mine yet for a few clients that have not been ID. I am worried I will get cut off. Any advice on what I should do or how to handle this?

I moved to USA in 2017 on F1 visa. I was not selected for H1-B in the 3 years of my OPT. While my company is transferring me to Canada and can potentially get me back on L1 visa, the shifting situation is stressing me out. The thought of moving to another country in a couple of months is causing a lot of anxiety and tough luck with the lottery is making me feel depressed.

The week of my wedding, my husband (PL SQL Developer 4 yoe) was laid off. That was a couple of weeks ago. I found out a soon to be 2nd year associate got a 10k raise making his salary 110k now, while I, the soon to be 3rd year associate got a 2k raise making my salary 107k. So now the 2nd year male associate is making more money than me. How do I bring this up to the partners?
