I have interviewed with Slalom Consulting for Principal role (AEM technology) and waiting for the final decision. I’m in Greater Washington DC area. I have about 10 years experience. How is the culture at Slalom DC? What about work life balance? In terms of salary, what is a good base salary to consider? Will they provide bonus? Any difference between Principal and Sr. Principal?

I’m a 2nd yr. in M&A (if relevant: I’m billing on average 176 hrs, lowest month was 144, highest was 281, not getting paid market about 20-30k below). I’m considering a lateral move to Latham. Im currently at a startup that’s in the fintech space. I have about 50-60,000 shares in the company. The thing is, 1) Design is truly only thought about as a UI addition and not thought as a UX need. Letter mentions progression from grade 3 to grade 4, but at the beginning of the month SM said he is suggesting my name for promotion. Now that it's mentioned as progression in the letter, promotion is out of scope? Or can it change from progression to promotion before feb 4 announcement?
