Should I stay at a company I know I like culture-wise when my manager said they will try to promote me, but with no guarantee. Or should I take a job offer I was given with a nice raise, but is in consulting at Slalom. I have not worked in consulting before. How is Infosys Consulting as an organization? I heard that it is different than its other entities (Infosys BPM, Infosys Ltd, etc.) and is doing good with projects and quality of work. They are offering a decent 60% hike on CTC basis for Sr. Consultant role. Is it a good move to move from Cognizant Consulting to Infosys Consulting?

Is a switch from being Accenture Management consultant to Infosys principal consultant good decision.Also, is worklife in Infosys consulting any better at the principal consultant level? Does Infosys also follow 'up or out' policy?
