I have looked for industry role for several months now with no success. Got few interviews, but they end up choosing another candidate with mix experience (PA and industry).
Should I consider switching to advisory, if my end goal is industry? Seems like advisory can add experience/technical knowledge since you do the work on behalf of the client (instead of just auditing it).
May anyone from advisory please share your thoughts/ experiences?

Top 10 NY firm third year corporate associate (finance) trying to make a switch to litigation/white collar/investigations/trial work. Not currently possible to make the switch internally at current firm. Any tips for getting a foot in the door somewhere? Most recruiters so far have been unhelpful.

I have around 11 plus years of IT experience largely in Product Management.When I see LinkedIn profile of management consultants I see few of them get hired on C level positions in other companies but do not see that for Product manager except starting their own startup.Need suggestions if i should keep this transition dream or not

Any advice on how to handle an ECD in charge of your salary who says the only way to get a promotion or even a COL raise of any kind is through winning an award? Not consistently reliable and solid performance. Not keeping the client happy and profitable. “You either win an award, or all ya get is to keep your job.”
