I have offer from IBM ISL - Bangalore and Altimetrik - chennai with same compensation but in Ibm ISL I need to work on java and javascript but in altimetrik I need to work on java springboot microservices and react which is my current techstack. Yoe: 5.5

My husband just received a job offer on an opportunity he is really excited about. It would be great for his career and they are giving the 15% jump in base he asked for, however they won’t share what the target bonus amount would be. It’s an executive director position, so I would assume it’s a decent target bonus, but without that in writing it could honestly be a gift basket at the end of the year. Is it a red flag for them to not share this? His total comp could be less at this new job…

Hey 🐠, curious your thoughts on two roles. 27m finishing non-MBA grad school while working. First I’d a manager-level BD role for a startup (but public) company im really excited/energized by. 150k base with 15% bonus and equity. Second is a senior manager level growth & partnerships role for a slightly larger company that’s cool but I’m less enthusiastic about. 165k with 20% bonus and equity. Ignoring equity considerations, would you take the job with lower pay if the company is more exciting?

This annual appraisal I have got a good % of appraisal increment on my salary but I was not promoted to a senior developer (although I have been mentoring a junior dev in my team and been part of building the project by implementing new technologies and tweaks) and my total YoE is 3.5+ years. Offer ONE “Principal Program Manager at Microsoft” Individual Contributor. 220K base, $120K sign on bonus, $300K On Hire Stock Award, 0-40% Annual Cash Award (Individual Performance based, 20% is typical), $0-160k Annual Stock Award (Individual Performance Based, $80K is typical).

Offer TWO “Deputy C-xxxxx”. Leading a team. mid sized company (20Bn annual Revenue , 38000 people) 230 base, 75k RSU, annual bonus 30% of base (Company performance)

Product Manager offer is 120k salary, sign on bonus of 15k. 4 YOE total. Undergrad degree in computer science. Am I underpaid? This is a legit question lol. I’ve only done federal contracting/consulting work.

Can I ask for a slight increase ($5K) in salary if I already signed an offer letter? Their highest threshold was $5K more than what the offer was. If so, how do I go about it?

Looking for advice - I doubled my scope in the last few months, and have been seeking a promotion and raise to match my increased scope. The company is offering me a title increase with no change in comp until the next cycle (Feb ‘23), and a 1 year cash retention bonus (stay for a year or have to give it back). Gift giving help: every year around this time my husband brings up his Jan bday and basically demands I spend a lot of $ on him. I find this stressful. Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I've been feeling bad about putting my papers down and letting go off my promotion but I am really tired. I took up this job as an escape.
