I have only gotten into using pivot tables in Excel or Google sheets in the last 7 years. Currently I am using Google sheets to track my job hunting. My workbook has several sheets, The main sheet is a database of my job hunting,

I generate several pivot tables to give me an idea of how things are going. For example, a count of applications with the status as the rows and the number of interviews as the columns. This let me determine my interview and response rate. I hope this is helpful.

This is a great way to keep track of the application process. I need to do something like this, I think I've been afraid to face the rate of rejections I've been getting lol but no better way to improve it than to start tracking

like

Its not just about knowing your rate, but also sharpening your skills AND figuring out what metrics might be interesting to know. I started with 8 columns in my spreadsheet and am now at 16.

This is a good way to track your progress in job hunting, I will do the same. Thank you

You are welcome!

Awesome. Would you be open to sharing your template?

My library has free jobscan.co and i have been using that to track applications

Hello Guys,

I joined
Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?

As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Feeling like I’ve been “bait-and-switched”…

I’ve been interviewing at an agency with the intention of filling a Director role. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.

a) applying from Ca will actually get my application tossed out the window
b) I've heard there are gazillion ppl applying so if referral gets me on the radar, instead wasting time just find someone to refer me?
