I have always wanted to move to finance. I am considering enrolling in FRM

What does the future of FRM look like, considering it does not have much recognition currently?
Will this land me a job in JP Morgan, Blackstone, Vanguard, BNY Mellon, HSBC etc?
What is the scope of FRM in the European and Middle Eastern market?
Will I have to start from a senior or analyst role?

Transitioning from com. lit into tax controversy?

I have a tax LLM and started my career out of law school doing M&A tax at a big4. After 9 months, I got out of big4 transactional hell and into whatever litigation I could find. I now practice commercial lit but would welcome the opportunity to eventually transition into tax controversy (which I wasn’t able to do before). Does my commercial litigation “break” hurt my prospect? How long can I stay in com lit without hurting my chances even more?
