Hi guys ,
I am in a US project in Accenture. We have long calls in the night timings. My other teammate has backed out saying she won't attend any calls as she got some medical condition so she won't attend long calls which extend till 9:30.Other teammate is a junior. The managers are expecting me to join all the calls. No help I am getting. And they all being Tamil, I think some partiality is going on between them.Even our onsite lead is of no use.She expects me to attend long calls.
What should I do .pls suggest?

Below is the email i received from Mindtree, a week ago.
We would like to inform you that you have been selected in final interview with Mindtree. We are currently in process of taking your candidature for further processing.

I’m in the exact position as you :( sadly 1 YOE doesnt cut it for most positions

Not big4 or any major firm. Moreso a startup. Was led into taking this job by being told that their bonus structure was amazing and practically guaranteed to get you 20-30K extra each year. Guess who hasn’t seen any bonus yet 🙃 Lesson learned.
Maybe your resume sucks?
Could you reach out to someone who knows you professionally to get their perspective?
If it makes you feel any better
I have 8 YOE, (3 consulting 5 in industry) and I am also having no luck. Probably close to 75 applications, 4 phone screens and that's it
Yes, if applying online with no referral. Even with a referral you're not guaranteed an interview, but you'll probably get your resume reviewed by a real person
People from same school/company are best because you already have more in common and might have mutual connections. If recruiters are your only option though it can't hurt to try.
Usually I'll ask to schedule a phone call to learn more about the company and their career path, but I'll mention that there are specific roles I'm considering applying to in the initial message. Then as the phone conversation is winding down I might ask for advice on applying to the company and that makes it more natural to ask for a referral.
If you know the person well or have already worked with them I don't see the harm in asking for a referral right off the bat
That isn’t normal, but it’s less likely to be a reflection of you and more likely to be do to the current situation (COVID related financial situations). Many companies have hiring freezes right now, including for positions that were previously open.
Keep your chin up, look ahead and continue to prepare for interviews (e.g., practice responses to questions like tell me about yourself, why you are looking to switch roles, and other behavioral questions; brush up on case interviews if the companies you applied to incorporate them). Do everything you can to put yourself in the position to succeed once you do start hearing back.
Best of luck!
I’d reassess how much time you spend applying vs how much time you spend networking. If blind applications aren’t successful, probably worth sending fewer apps to companies / teams where you’re able to make a connection
