So I recently applied for a position as a training specialist, but I feel like I’m more than qualified to look for other roles. I have work in finance, but I do have my PMP, but I haven’t led any large projects, just assisted on them any advice to a young professional that just graduated with an MPA Fiserv, Inc

I always just think this way “they can/will replace you 30 minutes after you leave.” But I get it, we’re human beings! What I did is to ask them if they’re available for a call or video (depends how close you are to them) and do the break up then.
Just be courteous and professional. I'm sure they'll understand. If at a firm, they know the firm business model is that not everyone will stick around until they make it to the top
(Following cus I am about to do the same.) Congratulations OP! Rather than worry about the perfect way to do it, I would recommend being direct, unapologetic, courteous and professional. No one will remember how you broke the news probably 10 minutes later. Especially as a woman I feel guilt for “letting down” employers when I leave, but it has always been way less emotional on their end than mine! Good luck :)
This sounds perfect for you! More work is better when you are actually interested in the mission and subject matter. Way to follow your heart!
I was a well-loved and praised senior attorney about to be promoted to partner when I broke the news I was going in house. It was hard, but most people were kind because I was sincerely appreciative and they’ve all moved on. You’ll be fine and they’ll be fine.
