This is so typical in sales, but I would start thinking about moving on if the change seems due to cronism.
Things like that can happen, and it's usually not a welcome development. But the reasons for it happening can vary a lot. Sometimes they make sense, sometimes they do appear pretty shady. It's up to you to decide how to interpret what has happened, whether you're being freed to do something else noteworthy, or whether you're being stripped of what should be yours.
It could be because they are part of another larger company or they have more locations than your org usually handles. Thats happened to all of us at some point. Things to look for: pages that originally are “unclaimed” (make sure they are not a duplicate page), if it’s a name of a business that is pretty popular (always look it up to see if there are other restaurants, stores and how man locs) look for banners (sometimes even though they seem big as day) they can be overlooked.
I’m sorry that happened to you and I hope this helps a little but you’re not alone and it is pretty regular
Time to look fora new job they may be beginning to phase you out or reassign territories
I don't think you are overreacting at all and I think anyone in your shoes would feel the same way. Its not fair to see something you worked so hard for just get handed to someone else on a silver platter. I don't blame you for feeling the way you do.
