I just got an offer for Accenture’s consulting development program and am wondering if I should negotiate my initial offer as a new grad with little consulting experience. I got another offer for EY business transformation but it pays less.

Hi all, I started this project 2 years ago called Wise Charlie (www.wisecharlie.com) which focuses on mental models and critical thinking.
In 2017/2018, I was contemplating going to grad school or starting a project. I decided on the latter. After not really doing much, I picked up on it this summer due to Covid. I now have 100+ customers and a few hundred newsletter subscribers. It’s been rewarding so far and have improved my own thinking.
Happy to answer any questions.

Entry level offers at Accenture are non-negotiable.

Thanks everyone for the advice! I’m going to take the ACN offer as is :)
You likely won’t be able to negotiate at entry level
It’s formulaic and standardized (unlike some of our competitors we don’t pay differently for men and women in the same job) the differentiation is in the discretionary pay.
You won’t be able to negotiate the salary sadly. Sorry to break it to you but realistically HR won’t care if you join Acn or EY.
This isn’t the hill to die on - establish yourself now and negotiate your next move.
Maybe the sign on that’s about it
Holy cow… you can’t let that go… it was a relocation bonus back then… may have done signing bonuses for a couple years between then and now… but trust me… that ship sailed for a while
