Deloitte vs Google vs Meta? Got offers this week from Google & Meta but currently at Deloitte and happy here. Seeing a lot of people complain about Google being not as great as people make it seem, lack of growth, company being cheap, lack of perks outside of HQ. And with Meta the role is just uninteresting. Thoughts on either or just staying? Google Facebook (Meta)

You might consider taking notes while you're listening? Writing down keywords can really help you to remember the important details? Also, anything related to numbers or dates, I always make a specific note of that too!
Yes thank you I do take notes. 🙌🏼
I know the feeling! When I first started out with customer service, I was really nervous about active listening too. One tip I found helpful was to take notes during calls. Writing down key points and customer needs can help you stay focused and better remember the conversation. Additionally, practice active listening exercises outside of work to become more comfortable with the skill. Good luck!
Thank you for the tip though! I’m hoping when I can use my second monitor I can pop notes into a document.
The key is to pick out certain pieces from what a customer is saying. Repeat it back to them to confirm. Try to tackle one thing at a time. If they give you 5 issues, note the issues but say you want to focus on a specific one first then work your way through. It will become second nature where you won't even need to write down information save for some highly complex situations.
Thank you so much! You give me hope!
maintain eye contact, take notes, avoid distractions, don't interact, and summarize.
Mines just over the phone, there’s no eye contact. Just pure listening
