I just wanted to ask everyone’s opinion, how difficult is it to become a Pharmacist? I'm trying to figure out what I can do with my life and being a Pharmacist looks like a good career option.

how do we get out?! i’ve been doing office work in a grocery store for too long… this was supposed to help me transition out of hospitality but it feels like i’m going to be stuck in a grocery store for the rest of my career
i guess i just need to voice my frustrations. it’s not that i hate my job or the field, i don’t. i’m just feeling extremely overwhelmed and discouraged i think. does anyone really, truly enjoy what they do in retail/hospitality?? needing some positivity

2020 grad M&A/PE Associate in LCOL area thinking about moving to a ECVC/M&A boutique. I generally like the work I do and the people I work with, but I really don’t like the hours and the constant late nights and weekends. Currently on pace for 2250. Boutique I have been eyeing has billable hour requirement of 1500-1600 and comes with a 20-25% paycut. Is this a stupid idea and should I grind it out until I can move in house? Will this ruin my opportunities down the road?

I’m getting put up for manager a year early. I have PPMD ,SM, and M support. Pretty much support from all the key individuals on my team and in my service line. Since it is a year early if i don’t get promoted this round I know it’ll come mid year but I do expect a good salary increase still without the promo. I have been a practicing (patent prosecution) lawyer in different firms for about 20 years. I would love to do something more creative but still techie (computers, telecom, apps, etc.). I've always been interested in improving the software that practicing lawyers use (whether patent-specific or not). I am also kind of an academic at heart, but I live in a locale where professorial jobs are pretty limited and we're rooted here now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Walgreens offered 50K sign on bonus and I asked for 10K extra to accept offer and move to another city for 2 years. They accepted my request.
Starting pay is $55.05/hr though. From your experience, is this a good offer? Is it worth taking?
