Hello Everyone,
I am a fresher with over 9+ months of experience as a Data Engineer at Tata Consultancy .
I just needed some suggestions from you experienced folks.🙏
In my current project my colleagues have over 6+ years of experience and are not very supportive and scold me for unnecessary reasons, which is effecting my mental health.😔
Also I am not getting to learn anything.

Chill out. You'll be fine, especially as a new campus hire. Keep your head out of the headlines. Keep working hard and learning. If layoffs do happen at Deloitte, they typically target high earning individuals who aren't performing well, not fresh campus hires who aren't even in the 6 figures yet.
Yup this isn’t IBM
Layoffs can come and go and you likely have little control of that. Build your network, gain whatever advocacy you can, build yourself a safety net and enjoy the ride. Living in fear of layoffs will only serve to paralyze you in your pursuit of future opportunities. You will be just fine.
Focus on doing your best, learning, and developing - and pay little (hopefully no) attention to pundits. They add no value; their job is to get clicks and ratings - that’s their only measure of success.
Don’t stress too much, like D1 said it’ll be the high earning and under performers. Think about it, why would a company get rid of someone who they have no clue will perform well and also is only getting paid 100k when they can get rid of a manger making closer to 200k and has consistently missed targets? Cost of one manager = cost of two entry level. Focus on your time learning as much as you can, I’ll be a great time especially once we’re midst recession and companies are looking for advice
I thought i am not good enouf as a soft engineer from last 10 yrs but I'm doing gr8 🤣 so no worries.
Eagerness to learn is great. You are new, you aren't going to know everything (or anything really) yet. You have a good foundation from your studies and now you are building up. Also you are inexpensive labor and the future of their talent, so unless they are foolish you are secure.
This is a way of life. Every few years the economy slows and layoffs happen. Always keep your resume updated, interview skills fresh and ears to the ground for better opportunities.
