I think that can help to some extent, but the harsh reality is that even knowing AI software won't necessarily keep you competitive. A lot of roles and departments will simply be automated out of existence, and I hate to say it but I do think customer service is on that track. My advice to people is to learn physical trades that show no signs of being automated.

Many roles are eventually going to be replaced with AI but companies will still require a certain number of people. AI is also expected to create new jobs that leverage the technology’s capabilities, particularly in areas like AI development, implementation and ethics.
No idea if companies are going to retrain employees and train them in AI. I believe some companies are already offering training. I had worked for a company that did offer training courses so I would have to believe that they are already training in AI
I’d treat your side hustle as a full-fledged business: clients, schedules, budgeting because it’s all relevant to CSR and finance. And yes, AI fluency helps you stand out. Have you thought about rebranding your experience on LinkedIn? Also networking will take you far!
Thank you once again for your helpful tips and free resources. I will definitely look into them 🤗
I feel the longer I have been out of the workforce the more I lost a sense of myself. I once was able to match my identity to my purpose in the stages of my life. When I was in school my identity was a student and my purpose was to get an education to obtain a degree. When l was working various jobs in different industries my identity was I am an employee and my purpose was to work to live, pay bills, rent/house, and save money for retirement. When I entered into a long term serious relationship my identity was to become a wife with a purpose of getting marry to grow old and be with for the rest of your life. So what happen when you followed the rules of life that everyone is on the same societal expectations which suppose to lead you to fulfil a successful, happy, and money abundance in a perfect world, but your life took a major downturn? When you are not at where you suppose to be in life at certain age especially in your early 50s; it can make you feel worthless, destroy your confidence, lack of motivation, and lost of your identity then you questioned your purpose in life. How many feel this way? How do you bounce back ? Lately I just feel numb, on autopilot, and have no desire to try anymore 😞
I am really sorry to hear that. I have heard that this job market is very competitive. I would try posting in the job referral bowl to see if you can get any leads in there.
