Of course. Wife too. It’s a part of love and life. I’m sure the feelings are vice versa sometimes.
I’m with you. After hearing the fourth “why?” in a row after I asked my 8yo not to answer the door yesterday, I just let out an “AHHHHHHH!!!!!” Tough move, but I put a weekend-long ban on “why?” in response to any requests my wife or I have for her.
It was our neighbor’s kid coming to collect for mowing our lawn. She knew it was him, and it was a day of me being the solo parent. The lesson from it wen to me: I should not try to do all house-work while being a good parent and trying to manage some weekend job-work. Too much—and so I lost my cool. It was a good reminder that I can only do so much, which I explained to my kid before a good hug and us resuming our Mother’s Day art project.
The bickering between my two youngest is unbelievable, haha! Love my kids, too, and yes they get on my nerves sometimes, too. 🤣
Meditation and me-time are crucial for mental survival. Yes, your feelings are valid and common.
My 6yo just started dropping “whatever” as a standard response to anything i ask!
It took a lot of restraint for me to not spank his @$$
Every day that ends in a "y"
Oh yes. Feel same exact way. Love them more than anything in the world, but at times….. 🤬
Every day, every… day
Hell yeah man
