Hey guys, I m Mechanical engineer currently working in CSIR- National Aerospace Laboratory, Bengaluru as Project Associate for past 1 year with a very rich experience in designing, drafting, analysis and remodeling of various components of aircrafts of all different types - fighter, Passenger, UAVs, trainer aircraft, Got rich experience on composites design and fabrication, including layup process. I was supportive of Lori when this virus first started but her actions since have dwindled my support of her. Why is there such a huge pay difference between IT and Mechanical/auto industries? Many people in IT are getting 3xx salary hikes, but here I am struggling to get more that 20-30% hikes. Sure the skills are much more demand in IT field, but the discrepancy is too much. Is it due to most of the work are outsourced to consultancy/service based companies by the OEM? Or is there simply too much candidates available?
