One day, he asked me about my salary package, and after that, I observed his behavior towards me changed. He also hired 2 freshers for my project. I fear that he might release me from the project. I resigned from Cognizant recently and now the manager is saying they will raise a request for Canada work permit for me.

My question is how genuine can that promise be ? Anyone faced similar situation before ? How Canada work permits generally happen here in CTS and how many months it can take ?

I'm currently working with Deloitte USI as a Proposal analyst and got an offer from CTS with decent hike and hometown location as a Senior Business Development Analyst.
