Most firms I've been at requirement is 1900-1950
I think 1900-2000 is relatively standard. The firms that reach 2200+ are going to suck. What it’s telling you is the rate structure is incredibly low, so much so that even paying low salaries they need everyone to hit very large billable totals to make any money. And that money is going to the top of the pyramid. You should keep looking if it’s at all feasible.
Anything over 1,900 hours is asking a lot - I don’t care what they try to gaslight us all with. If the hard cutoff is 2,000 that’s high but not insane. Anything higher and I’d just walk because it’s not worth it at that point.
We are 2,200 and most similar firms I know are 2,100-2,400. So yes, that is true
My firm is 1900, but the "expectation" is 2000+
2000 is not a lot. I worked at a firm that wanted 2400
I’m at 1800
My firm is 2200. All depends on how much work you have. I’ve never found it difficult to hit bc we are always incredibly busy
1900
I’m at a huge ID firm and ours is 1900. I’m a 6th year and make 165k
