I possess four years of healthcare administrative experience. In these four years, I have worked in a variety of capacities. I have worked in management, served as a research associate and completed an internship in a financial services department. I pair all of this with a Master's Degree in Public Health with a concentration in Healthcare Administration obtained last May. Despite this, I have had over 60 job applications ignored over the past calendar year. Does anyone have any advice?

I have tried just about every job posting website in the book. I have sought professional Resume advice.

Have you tried editing your resume to have a few different versions to be more specific in targeting specific job types that you’re applying for?

I would also suggest being more active on LinkedIn and sometimes reaching out to recruiters, if needed. Like practice administrator 1 said, tailor your resume to fit the job description when applying. Hope you find the right one soon! Don’t give up, the job market is tough and you’re not the only one feeling like this. Good luck!!

To be honest I feel that it's all in who you know! I would say build relationships with people in your organization, join committees, join volunteer programs to help show leadership skills and if your goal is management/leadership then taylor your resume using project in your previous roles in which you led and project or team

I am having the same result here as well. I’ve worked in healthcare for 20 years and just last year I got my BS in healthcare administration. So many applications, resumes have went out. It’s exhausting.

Just scored 700 on my GMAT and I feel like a bag of crap. For reference, I put in 300+hrs into my studying, which is overkill but the course I signed up for took this long.

I wanted to use this to strengthen my app to BCG as an experienced hire and possibly for an MBA in the future.

Hello! It seems this bowl is not very active but I'd like it to be. So here's my story: Born & raised in PR, moved to CA for undergrad & have been here since then. I graduated from law school in 2019, followed by a 2 yr bk clerkship. I did the evening program. I really enjoyed law school, in spite of the microaggressions, the late nights, & crazy competition. Love all things diversity in the law. Anyway, currently looking for a position in NYC/DC area. 🤗

recently asked a question about going to law school with an accounting degree. follow up on that- if i work 1-2 years at my current firm (offered 72,500 full time after graduating undergrad) and acquire my cpa (courses and exam fees paid for by the firm), then apply to law school, would that be more beneficial? ive been reading a lot that work experience helps with the application, alongside having a high gpa and LSAT score

I'm at a career juncture and have decided on a career in anti-money laundering as my new path. I'm also highly interested in additional education to further my career and am eyeing graduate school. Which is best? A law degree or a master's in international relations? Those are where my interests lie. I keep reading that JDs are valued in compliance but am wondering if a different graduate program is better for my goals. I already plan to obtain the CAMS certification. Thank you!
