That’s amazing. If you are in the US, I’d seriously look at taking a course in Business English. You need to stop using words like “wherein” and sentence constructs like “first time ever did I”. Please don’t take it badly - just trying to help you blend in ...

Cad1: what’s wrong with wherein?
Ugh US English is really the worst.. “please don’t take it badly, y’all”
Nothing is technically wrong with "wherein", it's just more formal than standard American conversation and comes off as somewhat outdated (along the same lines as "wherefore")

I agree. Fair and lovely BS has corrupted our culture. Glad to see that 1000 other values that a woman can have are not ignored.
My wife and I had a discussion the other day, we decided not to use the terms “ smart” “ intelligent “ “good looking” to describe babies to their parents. We are Uber pissed when we were made to sit and hear a 3 year old being asked to recite the planets in universe as the parents believe their kid is special and smart. Maybe he is special, but really, who cares about smarts for a 3 year old. We instead decided to use the adjectives “ cheerful” “peaceful “ happy “

As a parent I take great pride in my children. My eldest son is testing at grade 1 math while he is in junior KG and I'm overjoyed.
I do show them off with close friends and family - but it's just to share something that brings me joy.
While you obviously mean well, be careful to not let your self-righteousness take away from somebody's joy.
In our interactions with one another - I prefer people who are supportive and kind.
This made my day :)
