Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

Sad doesn’t even begin to describe all of this.
Some of the most heinous shit. what’s messed up to me and honestly I don’t know if it’s just me, but I almost don’t even feel it. I don’t feel sad. I don’t feel happy. I remember when sandy hook happened 10 years ago I felt like I got gut punched. I got shivers. I cried in my room. it was just the worst thing i’ve ever experienced.
When this happened I just kinda read it, felt a little bad for the families, and it’s back to business as usual. idk if there’s something wrong with me or this country. or both.
I felt the same way, I was 18 when sandy hook happened and the memory of crying for an hour and watching news is so vivid. I heard this felt little emotion and then thought back to sandy hook and how nothing has changed

Never should have happened.

I agree, Director 1.
I would add that after Sandyhook and all preceding school shootings, it is clear that the Second Amendment is more important than the lives of children. Otherwise more would have been done to prevent this tragedy.
My sister teaches elementary school and I am scared for her return to school in Autumn.
There are 400 million guns in this country. Even if you ban all guns starting today, criminals will still get their hands on them. So set the gun arguments aside for a second. It feels like most of these school shootings have a common denominator: shooter getting into the school via a unlocked door, unsupervised entrance etc. How are schools not more locked down by now? We have the technology to provide controlled access to buildings without making everything feel like a prison. Why aren’t schools our top priority in terms of controlled access? 1 locked door might have changed this entire outcome.
How do I know it won’t work? Because the cities/states with the strictest gun laws also have some of the highest rates of gun violence. Must be a coincidence though right? You probably assume I’m against gun law reform. I’m not. I’m all for increased background checks, mandatory training, waiting periods, closing gun sale loopholes etc. The point I am making is that right wrong or indifferent guns are here to stay and I am hoping this terrible tragedy can shine a light on the need to increased school funding for security and hardening against attacks like this.

Infuriates me when law makers cowardly take no action with NRA money in their pockets, and people still think mental health is the issue in America.

I read a news story about a girl who played dead, and started bawling. First time I've cried about it. Honestly, it's exhausting.
I cried twice yesterday, at work, reading the news and watching this video and others of the parents trying desperately to get into the school while dozens of police did crowd control and handcuffed parents literally while gun shots could be heard inside.
These police - the "good guys with guns" - are cowards. Not only should they be fired, they should be sued into ruin. Their social media looks like a bunch of Cosplayers, and they get 40% of that town's budget. They have one job and they couldn't do it. This should be the last time anyone suggests that more people with more guns are the solution. https://www.cnn.com/2022/05/26/us/uvalde-shooting-angel-garza-cec/index.html#amp_tf=From%20%251%24s&aoh=16536757623408&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&share=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cnn.com%2F2022%2F05%2F26%2Fus%2Fuvalde-shooting-angel-garza-cec%2Findex.html
tbh I hope the faces of dead children haunt their souls and eat at their conscious for the rest of their lives. I hope when they go to sleep the dream about it every night.
