I signed an offer letter today to get $47 an hour as a staff RN at an ambulatory multispecialty clinic. I’m still unsure since I’m so burnt out from nursing in general, also past horrible experiences in every job I’ve had. If I find a remote role that pays $40-$41 hourly, but I already signed this offer letter elsewhere, will this place blacklist me from future roles? It’s a very big company and I don’t want to get blacklisted. Please any advice is appreciated. I just don’t know what to do.

Do any RA’s or PE’s on here sign and seal for their company? My firm is trying to bestow these responsibilities on us and I’m holding out for an increase in comp. This responsibility was not originally in my job description. Additionally I am the only one with my job title being required to do this. Everyone else that will be signing have a more senior role then me. Any feedback is appreciated.

It’s hard to trust the partners/leadership when they want us to return to office as being better when we increase offshoring? Also, the pressure on billable hours when all that really matters is how much our fixed labor costs vs. how much we can bill (which is usually fixed fee or at least a range) and the fixed labor costs of offshoring is significantly cheaper so the hours don’t matter. The job entails not only to bill for dme (cms 1500) but also to follow up on any denials or appeals, amongst other administrative duties. My questions are is it typical to have 1 person doing both the billing and denials within a new vertical for all ins.?
