I think I may have shot myself in the foot trying to be the perfect candidate. I had a few interviews for a role recently, and in every one they asked if I was comfortable being an individual contributor or if I saw myself as a people leader. I said I was happy being an IC because I wanted to make sure I aligned with what they were looking for, but I thought it was strange they asked multiple times. Then today I saw they posted a manager role on the same team. Please learn from my mistake!

I have a undergrad finance degree and 5 years of big 3 credit rating agency work experience, what will help me more to get into a SFA role or product role at a tech company, a T15 MBA or a Georgia tech masters in analytics degree?

Looking to transition from an experineced(more than 7 years) automation and manual tester to a python full stack developer , looking for guidance about the path .... job market(including freelancing option) ,job position to target , potential struggles , courses or any other potential resources !
P.S. trying this change to as having a inclination towards development, and also see myself going for technical manager role in future !
