I’m 10 weeks with #2 and praying for light at the end of the tunnel. So nauseous all the time, the constant dry heaving is killing me. I didn’t have anything like this with my first. Hope you feel better soon!
Ha. I didn’t feel better consistently until 7 months, and then the round ligament pain kicked in and I could barely walk or sleep. Ain’t it glam? (If it’s any consolation, that resolved immediately upon delivery! Just in time for a whole basket of other issues, but at least you get relief from what ails you at about the time you think you can’t take it any more.)
I’m 13 weeks and I’m noticing I’ll have two good days followed by an awful day full of vomiting. With my first kid it never went fully away and I was puking in labor. I never had that second trimester joy and am praying for it this time around. Pregnancy is not great for everyone. All I can say is after I delivered it went away immediately.
I had this with my 2nd and never with the first. Eating two hard boiled eggs every morning (filling up on protein). And sometimes I had to take anti-nausea meds to keep from puking everywhere.
My first (with no issues) was a boy. Second was a girl and I had nausea for the first two trimesters with it going away early in 2nd trimester.
I took unisom for the sickness per the doctor, apparently also widely used in Australia. I had it for all 9 months with the second but the first one it was just the first trimester. Hope you get some relief soon
