Google real agency salaries. I think it’s a good resource and is all crowd sourced.
thank you so much! yes, i saw a Sr. Copywriter on there for 110k. i have heard similar numbers in NYC... It's hard to know whether this agency would be willing to do higher. someone here referred to it as a smaller one (although they have huge clients)...

But then they'll DEMAND you give them a salary down to the penny.
hahahah exactly
I've seen as high as 120k - been looking myself
thanks so much! i hope we both get the highest range : )
I believe Senior Copywriter would be about 108k or so.
thank you!
Just give off the impression that they might not be able to afford you and then ask what the range is again since you don't want to waste either of your time. I've found that to be a shortcut in the conversation.
thank you so much! So I am talking to the company directly (their head of business) about these full time options, since I have been freelancing on and off for them for a year. No recruiter... no job post...
Not sure if this applies to you but if the job was “advertised”, isn’t it a law in NYC now that they need to disclose the salary range?
