I was flown out to NYC for an interview. It was last minute and the ticket was over $1,000. They said they would cover it. They haven’t completely ghosted me and it’s been 8+ weeks. What the heck do I do?? Do I have to eat this? I didn’t get the job for whoever is wondering.

I have been talking to a recruiter for a little over a month about a position. I let her know out the gate that I really wasn’t looking to change jobs, but she just kept wanting to continuing the conversation. I didn’t have 2 interviews with the hiring coming and they know that I am not really looking to make a switch. They are now working on an offer letter and I know they’re going to offer me more money. I had a bad experience with CTS even my interview gone well I got negative feedback. May be they have budget/notice period constraints, if that is the case why would they conducted interviews with out basic checks

Is it more worth it to go into FDD at a regional firm now, or hope that my current big 4 will transfer me come spring 2021?
