Thought this was interesting. Across 160 teams of researchers, just about all failed to make good life outcome predictions on things like GPA, evictions, layoffs, and others. Data followed 4.5k families across 15 years, with 13k features (varied over time). Haven't looked at it directly yet, but will be turning the docs and data inside out... In the meantime, authors claim this as showing the limits of ML. Oh, and it's published in PNAS, so you know there's some big publication energy there.

Hi Fishes, Sometime back I was interviewed for Technical Support Job role in my domain. T1 went well. T2, in my understanding was better only (not great like T1 but not blunder. I felt it was nice and i replied majority of questions). They released the feedback after 10 days with "Not Positive". I am not totally sure with feedback as I replied majority of questions correct. I am being bit curious with "Microsoft" tag. What can be the reason?
Discussion appreciated.

Hang in there. You’ve got to have thick skin and an elastic heart to make it through this business. (Easier said than done, I know.) We’ve all been at the bottom where it seems like it can’t get any worse (more than once). You are not alone.
This happened to me too but ended up landing somewhere that’s a better fit than both previous places. You’ll get through it, you obviously have the resume to land the jobs. Business losses aren’t a direct reflection of you but the agency as a whole.
Don't doubt your abilities. I was feeling a similar way before I got this current role. I had never worked in biz dev so I thought people would never believe me capable. A friend told me: "you have to get the job to do the job." If you're smart and hard working you can make the title leap. Own it.
This happened to me too. Start looking and if you do get laid off again, don't give up, apply for unemployment again and don't stop hustling. Much harder to start again once you lose momentum.
Yes this industry and the direction it's going sucks, no doubt about it. Sorry youre caught in the crosshairs.
I hope this sounds constructive like I mean it to be and not shitty, but a Community Manager is not the most integral person on the team. Its kind of a "nice to have." My suggestion would be call yourself a "Social Strategist" now. Every client wants a social media team (because they want to do more cheap and fast ideas), but when the chips are down and layoffs are being discussed, they always figure they can answer their own online comments.
@BBDO1 I agree - I’m just worried I’m not qualified enough yet to be a Strategist, I know I’m skilled and not trying to question my worth or anything, but just being cognizant of my experience and skill set I worry about taking a position I’m not ready for yet and setting myself up for failure
CP+B is hiring a freelance CM. Look on LinkedIn, you can be remote for the position.

I’m so sorry. That sucks.
Hang in there.
