Take sabbatical and study hard to pass the test. If you going to be in the game long term might as well bite the bullet and finish the test. If you already have good rapport with your teams then the 10-20k doesn’t sound too enticing to jump for.

Might be something to look into but still switch firms if you think you can make more

1. Take a sabbatical to pass the exams, for a mid year promo and stay at my firm
2. Find a different opportunity not requiring licensure

How's the growth in PwC India Advisory? I know it's a very open ended question, but assume that one's joining as a manager with 6+ years of experience. Negotiation in new offer: I’m moving from fully remote to fully in office (with chance of hybrid later) offer for associate director in quality in pharma for 170k base, 18% bonus and 75k equity. I’ve asked for a sign on bonus as I’m not eligible for annual next year and will be missing my current jobs bonus. I should hear tomorrow (asking for 28k). Thoughts about the offer? Should I ask for more equity or is that standard? They’re public (currently ~$20)should I get the hybrid option in writing?

Still I struggle. Should I try public interest? Not that I don’t need the money but it’s hard to work when I am so detached and find it meaningless
