I was thinking today about when my budget went to h*ll, and remembered it's been two years since the expanded child tax credit program with its monthly stipend ended in covid. It lifted over 11 million children out of poverty, with 43% families even after rent able to pay down household debt also.

When (if ever) did your budget last make sense?

Hey fishes, can someone tell me how the 80c bracket works, i know i can get exempt upto 1.5lakh under it, what i wanna know is does PF comes under it or not? For example if my yearly pf deduction is 20k and VPF is 10k so now will i still be able to show investment of 1.5lakh under 80c apart from PF and VPF or i'll be able to get exemption on only 1.2 lakh( 1.5lakh-30k= 1.2lakh)?

In DXC, PF amount is not credited in to EPFO directly.
We have UAN and it looks like not activated.
How can we transfer PF amount from DXC to EPFO portal?
There is no relevant response from DXC till date.

I am 34 yo, i graduated with 95k in student loans, i currently have 85k left and i make 85k in come. I’m also a single mom with two kids. Just praying for 100% student loans forgiveness.
