I will be in Tokyo for 5 days for a business trip at the beginning of August, only one free day, meaning all other days will be meetings during the day sadly. This is my first time here, avid culture fan and foodie. I realize I will have to come back to fully experience all that I want to. But what would anyone recommend as someone that wants to get immersed into food and culture maybe in the evening times preferably surrounding main hub Tokyo?

AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

AWS has prestige but is it worth it?

Recently was interviewed for a Sr. role in Booking but unfortunately the team finds me better suited as a core individual contributor.

Having an animal friend with cancer is not something easy. This year I have already had 24 animals that went to sleep in order to stop suffering. This is not easy for their families at all. It seems to me that the cancer stats in domestic animals are increasing, is this just me?
