I got up to 105 files. Now I hover at 85 active files in varying stages of pre lit. I asked managing partner for help and was told to settle more claims to lessen my load. During my interview process I clearly stated my salary expectations of 95k-105k. They came back with an offer at 80k. I work in FP&A consolidations at a large sell side bank. I moved internally after working in the planning group of a Working Capital Solutions business. I often feel like I would enjoy client facing or advisory work because it would help me build a skill that could translate to me potentially running my own advisory firm one day… I feel my role just looks at numbers on a page which doesn’t help me develop translatable subject matter skills or expertise. I don’t want to be a robot. Any advice?

Why are town Hall meetings so impersonal? They are all about awards / the number of people hired. I know FCB health is large, but we never hear from people who aren’t Executives. Last town hall, when discussing inclusion efforts, there were no people of color represented and one of the 4 pillars of diversity was centered around our “reputation as an organization” (that really rubbed me the wrong way). At my last agency those conversations were always led by people of color from every level.
