I work at a start-up ~150 employees, we're remote first. Within the last year we've had a lot of turnover, most everyone I started with is gone. Plans are a mess and I the UX Designer keep getting left out of client feedback calls, user testing, and basic research by the new PMs. After voicing that I would like to be a part of these calls so I can talk to and hear from clients nothing has changed. I've even asked for notes or recordings of the session. Nothing.

Any advice on what to do now?

The firm I work for is not closing for the hurricane. Staff were told to work from home or take PTO if they could not come in to the office (and the building is now closed until Friday). Is this normal?!

I have family members who are inside claims reps for a large company. The company sends out emails 4 times/day showing who is currently not available for calls. Have any of you taken "low bono" clients while working at a firm? I want to take on a low bono client or two but not sure who would get the money. Advice for Of Counsel roles? I am of counsel at a firm where I can set my own rate and keep a percentage of collections, which varies slightly depending on whether the client is one I generated or not. I went through six rounds of interviews including putting together a 30 minute presentation which I presented to the whole team. The whole process took about six weeks. I turned down another lead position at a different company waiting. After all that they told me that hiring for this role was on hold until further notice.
