Quarter life crisis: was in B4 audit for 4 years and took a financial reporting role in industry. It pays well, but kinda want to get into TAS. If I were to go into TAS could I be a senior 2-3?

Does anyone else suffer with paralysis? Mine is so bad I don’t even know what to do anymore. Serious question… if I am interested in becoming a CTO/CDO one day, what should I do for the next 5-8 years to prepare for this? Are there specific roles in tech that prepares you for a CTO role? I am currently in sales engineering with over a decade in consulting experience.

2. What certifications are valued today? Seems like being a AWS Cloud Practitioner is a good general one, but are there others that stand out?

I'm currently interviewing for a hardware internship (at a startup). I've had a phone interview, a 30 minute technical interview and now I have a 2-3 hour interview. Is it just me or does this seem a little excessive for an internship?
