I’d say I have a great work/life balance but I do know that I could be making 20-30% more and have better benefits if I left. I was thinking of taking a lower position at some company and working myself up maybe BI to DA. I would like to work as a dev but a lot of the small companies are offering salaries significantly under 100 for jr dev roles. Any thoughts?

1 yoe as a business intelligence developer and just under 1 yoe as a Junior data engineer for a startup. My current company is in talks with me to hire me as a data engineer right after I graduate with my bachelors degree. From what I’ve seen online (averaging 5 different sites, I am including Glassdoor but only the number they have listed as the base) I’m currently expecting about 85k base. Does this seem too high?
