What careers pay the best in the Uk?

Looking for some book recommendations :)
Do you do it (more) for the pay or for the job?
Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

Yeah I’m in the same boat since the year ended… one good review, one trash review…
Only D will put a high performer on PIP for low utilization.
Its a dark place
One of my counselees successfully exited a PIP 👑
I know someone who got promoted but was on a PIP previously. So it’s possible to make a come back, however, I’d say it’s rare
Pro
This.
9 - don’t personally know anyone who hasn’t been fired but have read stories of people coming back
I was on a PIP twice- both times got promoted at that level eventually and once that year. I think it depends on what the PIP is focused on. In my case I was put on it because my utilization was lagging. I had a perfect scatterplot for performance and operating at next level but missed util by like 7 percent due to bench time between finding projects. Got no bonus and a below rating. Didn’t impact my career at all though just need to overcome it.
The feedback I got was get back on track and no issues. I had to swallow my pride and it hurt to not get that $ but it’s honestly peanuts compared to long term. Happened to a coachee once too and tried to fight it he got GSAP but still on PIP haha. Not saying it’s annoying but the firm does care about utilization, regardless of reason!

9. And that 1 person may very well be an urban legend, because the only people that know someone who beat a PIP are either randos online or the ex girlfriend of someone's roommate's cousin.

It feels like all 10 of them end up leaving. Not all forced though

Fired? 0 or 1. End up leaving? 8-9
