Medical sales hands down. Have a family friend who does sales for Novo Nordisk. She pulls 2M per year and has spare time to finish her PhD. You can always come to consulting later as an experienced hire.
I also know someone who is a medical sales rep for trauma devices and that is true/consistent with his pay and WLB
understand your question on work life balance and colleagues, but would point out those are going to be two very different career paths.
Where do you want to be in 5 years? If you go with the sales rep role, you'll likely still be a sales rep. If he goes consulting, you'll end up with a few different exit opportunities across the different functions.
How many YOE? Also depends on which division in stryker-some do very well some not so much
I wouldn’t tell you what to do but personally I would go with PwC. WLB might not be as good but you’ll develop more skills and make a lot more connections. It also depends on department in SYK bc they have big differences. With Stryker you’re only going to be exposed to surgeons and HCPs.
