If someone has done B.A.(H) Economics from delhi University and was working as an Analyst with GFK (the work is more of research Analyst) and wanted to start his/her career in data science with basic python and sql knowledge in hand. How should he/she do it? Is it beneficial to do a Master's degree in data science? If yes, then from where?

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. Had a first round interview scheduled for a large CPG brand. My interviewer never called me, and I emailed following up to confirm the call. It’s been over a day and no response. What is going on with recruiters? I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but not even an email back saying “something came up” or “we’ve moved on” ?
