What exactly do you want to do in cybersecurity? With an MBA you could be of enormous value in GRC either consulting or in house. Security+ is a good place to start, I would also recommend A+ and Network+ first as they are fundamental to security. I wouldn't spend time on learning pen testing as it is heavily commoditized and is a race to the bottom in pricing because everyone does it.
A hot growint field is DevSecOps if you are handy with softwarw dev.
Good certs to leverage your existing skills would be ISACA CISM or CISA. Also ISO 27001 LA.
Always happy to help. I did the transition to cyber some time ago and learned a lot of lessons. Feel free to reach out anytime.

Spend the money on sans certs (huge investment though).
I would get the 401 or 501 cert (security essentials or advanced security essentials) and then I would layer on a 504 or 588 (pen testing) and then I'd top it off with some sort of cloud security course (540 or 510k).
Since your career is a long term deal - you should look at this large investment the same way
Do not pay for your SANS certs yourself. Big4 will let you get 1 per year, and maybe other companies if you ask. They're specialized enough where you can make an easy value proposition for getting it paid for.
