Any recommendations for good recruiting agencies in the Carolinas? Trying to find someone to help me navigate my potential lateral career options based on my experience and interests since I’ve been in litigation almost two years and it’s not for me and I will be relocating there.

Do recruiters and Hiring Managers actually review and read resumes? Also tech companies that sell SaaS, what is it with the requirements of having 10 years or more if technical sales experience? Also the ramp up period is not realistic. Average sales cycle for a reputable SaaS provider is 12-24 months. How on earth a start up can state that their ramp up period is 90 days? The company hasn’t had any new sales either. Start up CEO’s… be realistic or seek enough funding to operate.

Hi fishies! Considering an internal big 4 move from Western Europe to Dubai. Not sure about WLB and whether there’ll be enough growth and learning opportunities after reading some of the threads here. Anyone up for sharing their experience? My background is in tech transactional. I joined a cybersecurity SaaS startup at the end of last year and now also handle more generalist matters in addition to all things commercial-related. I have a number of books on contracts that I’ve found super helpful over the years (The Tech Contracts Handbook, A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting, Sign Here, etc.). Recently got the opportunity to "grow our ESG/CSR" practice at a small regional consulting firm, due to my recent grad certification in sustainable strategy. Wondering where I should focus us as a services industry for big impact - we have a large product innovation, engineering area, and know in the past we've had a lot of lip service to clients and only recorded ESG for their compliance.
