Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon
Have my closing interview with Accenture next week. So far the Director and MD I have met with have both liked me and the recruiter has said that they have both given me a thumbs up and that the upcoming closing interview with the MD is just a conversation. From my research I’ve also read that it’s just a sanity check to make sure I’m not a nutcase. Of course anything can happen, but I’m expecting an offer. (Cont)

Better late than nothing. They can absolutely work. Have seen some creative ones get talked about among coworkers, creating an overall positive perception internally.

Assuming the book is on par with the other applicants, something that I've seen stick out in ty messages is:
Customizing each ty message with something that was talked about during the interview, that each interviewer likes—could be sports, movies, dogs, etc. It can make them smile. Bonus if it can make them laugh. At the end of the day, interviewers are human first, they like to laugh and WFH. Keeping it short but sweetly thought-out and feeling real. Human psychology really.
It's not too late. And always worth sending, if they make a difference or not. It's a good habit to get into.
I absolutely love a good thank you - can be brief, but intentional and thoughtful.
Another question is if they have a personal and an agency email, which is better? For visibility.
Agency
I appreciate them.
I don’t think it hurts, and can make you top of mind again.
