If you were to be fired or laid off today how would you feel about it? Personally I would be concerned I wouldn't find a new job. But I wouldn't be immediately worried. Gig work is an easy way to temporarily bridge the gap. Long term IDK though. How would you feel if you lost your job today? What would your worries be?

@Capco what’s the comms/content space like? I’ve heard lots of mixed reviews re: consultancy jobs, but that’s not my focus. Did you do the NIPT? I just had my first prenatal appt and they scheduled me for the NIPT at 10 weeks. I’m a little nervous and anxious. Did anyone get it and got a false positive? Do you not recommend it? I wish I could ask family but we’re not telling anyone until the 12 weeks mark.

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks.
