When the manager introduced me to their supervisor I was introduced as applying for a lower paying position than I had applied for. Replayed the day in my head several times thinking did I actually hear the introduction correctly.

I have an interview for a LTC/Rehab Nurse Manager, Infection Preventionist position next week. My base salary is $40/hour as a charge nurse. With overtime I’ll be finishing the year about $15000 above my base pay. I have questions: first, I know I’ll be putting in at least the same number of hours I’m current working (50+/wk).
